Personal Lines Miscellaneous - CISR Live WebinarThursday, February 25, 2021 (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) (EST)DescriptionThe Personal Lines Miscellaneous seminar addresses the coverage exclusions and limitations in the most current ISO Homeowners 3 – Special Form and the ISO Personal Auto Policy for exposures created by clients’ business activities and their ownership or use of recreational vehicles and watercraft. Clients may not be aware they are lacking the proper insurance coverage for these activities until after a loss occurs. After completing this course, you’ll know the coverage gaps and when an appropriate endorsement is available to provide the needed insurance protection. This course also covers the important coverages offered through personal umbrella and excess liability policies. Topics: Business Activities of Personal Lines Clients Recreational Vehicles Watercraft Personal Umbrella/Excess Liability It is recommended that students taking CISR Personal Lines Miscellaneous have already taken CISR Personal Residential and CISR Insuring Personal Auto Exposures or have a working knowledge of the Homeowners and Personal Auto Policy Forms. You must reply to every attendance check and be online for the entire duration of the webinar to earn CE credits or designation update credit. FULL ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED FOR EARNING CE CREDITS AND DESIGNATION UPDATE. Requesting CE Credits To request CE credit for this course, go to www.scic.com and follow these steps. Note that the course will not be showing in your course history until the day prior to the webinar. Click on Sign In and enter your username and password. Once logged in, click on Course History. Find the appropriate course. Click on Modify CE in the right column. Complete the CE selection. Course Materials You can print the materials or download them to an e-reader or laptop for reference during the webinar. If you are unable to open the course materials link you can copy and paste this link into your browser: How Will the Test Work? If you are taking the test to earn your CISR or CISR ELITE designation, you will be emailed exam instructions and instructions to access the exam electronically. The exam will be open and available Monday through Thursday of the week following the course. You will have one hour to complete the test once you begin. Your exam results will be available almost immediately when you complete the test.
Accessing the Webinar Desktop/laptop users: to test your system, click here and click "Run Diagnostic Test" from the webpage. After the test, click "Configure Audio" to test your speakers. Note: All attendees are in "listen-only" mode so there is no need to test your microphone or webcam. Mobile App users: Tap the link/URL above to connect to the Webinar (for instructions on how to install the Mobile App, see item #4 below.). If prompted, enter the URL. All users: Before connecting to the Webinar, review the following: The Webinar is opened one-hour prior to its scheduled start time. We recommend you connect at least 30 minutes early in case time is needed for troubleshooting purposes. Audio will come through your computer's speakers or mobile device via the Mobile App (details in item #4 below). There is no call-in number for audio. When prompted, ensure that "Guest" is selected/underlined (do NOT select "Registered user") and type your FULL NAME. Note: The National Alliance will file your CE credits with the state insurance departments within 10 days of course completion CANCELLATION POLICY: No refund for cancellations within 10 business days of a class. Changes made within 10 business days of the class will incur a $35 processing fee. Substitutions are permitted with prior written notification. You must complete the program in its entirety. Refunds will not be granted due to partial attendance. If you do not attend, and do not notify IIABSC 24 hours prior to the seminar, you will not be allowed to transfer your registration fee and will not receive a refund. If you experience technical difficulties during the class and cannot complete it, IIABSC will transfer your registration fee to another CISR Live webinar, but no refund will be issued. All cancellations and transfers must be submitted in writing
